Golden Parade brings large, cup-shaped tulip flowers to the garden, in shades from buttery yellow to gold depending on the light and stage of flowering. Picture them above green leaves in a bed by the entrance: a bright welcome to spring. The flowers are primarily yellow, and their details may differ from the pack image in natural light. This is a single-variety pack, not a colour mix.
The Hedera pack contains 6 bulbs of the same Golden Parade variety, imported from the Netherlands. Plant them as a group with suitable spacing for a block of colour, or divide them between two deep pots. Tulipa 'Golden Parade' belongs to the Darwin Hybrid group, with large flowers and upright stems. It reaches around 55–60 cm in suitable conditions and suits the middle or back of a bed. Flowering time and stem height depend on seasonal cold, the planting site and planting time.
Cold before planting: Tulips need a suitable cold period. If this batch has not been pre-chilled and the site does not provide enough cold, refrigerating the bulbs for 6–10 weeks in a ventilated paper bag away from fruit may help. Plant them immediately after removing them. Ask Hedera about the batch's chilling status.
What you receive: A Hedera pack containing 6 ornamental bulbs of the same variety, not suitable for eating. Keep away from children and pets.
Is this a mixed pack? No, it contains 6 Golden Parade bulbs. The yellow shade may vary slightly with lighting and the stage of flowering.
Are they suitable for pots? Yes, use a wide, deep pot with drainage holes, or divide the bulbs between two pots.
Are they suitable as cut flowers? Yes. If you want to try keeping the bulb for the following season, leave enough foliage after cutting.
When should I plant them in Jordan, and when will they flower? Plant after the weather and soil cool in late autumn or winter for spring flowers, without a guaranteed date for every region.
Do they need chilling? This depends on the batch's status and how cold your site is; check with Hedera.
Will they flower next year? They may flower again in suitable conditions, but this is not guaranteed.
