Tulip Mix gives you 6 bulbs to plant together and enjoy as they open. Their cup-shaped flowers rise above green leaves in a wide pot by the entrance or a sunny garden bed. The appeal of this mix is discovering the variety of flowers as they bloom, rather than receiving one predetermined colour.

The bulbs are imported from the Netherlands and packed locally by Hedera. Botanical description: Tulipa species and cultivars. “Mix” describes a commercial assortment, not one cultivar. Pack and garden images are illustrative: colours, varieties and their proportions can differ between packs, and no pictured colour is guaranteed in every pack. There is no confirmed cultivar list for this 6-bulb pack.

Plant the 6 bulbs as a group with suitable spacing for a fuller display, or split them between two pots. Flowering time, stem height and how evenly they open depend on the mix and growing conditions. No single height or flowering date is guaranteed.

Growing tulips in Jordan

1. Plant after the soil cools in late autumn or winter. Choose a sunny position and well-drained soil, or a deep pot with drainage holes.
2. Set the base downwards and the pointed end upwards. Plant around 10–15 cm deep, leaving about 10 cm between bulbs.
3. Water after planting, then as needed according to soil dryness and rainfall. Do not leave the pot standing in water.
4. After flowering, remove faded flowers and let the leaves yellow naturally. Some bulbs may grow again, but strong repeat flowering is not guaranteed in mild-winter conditions.

Chilling before planting: tulips need an adequate cold period. If a batch has not been pre-chilled and your location does not provide enough winter cold, chilling for 6–10 weeks in a ventilated paper bag in a refrigerator away from fruit may help, followed by planting immediately after removal. Check this batch's chilling status with Hedera before applying additional chilling.
