Imagine a flower bed by your front door filled with large pink tulips on upright stems. That is the effect Lady van Eijk bulbs can create when planted together. Its single flowers are a rich pink that may appear reddish-pink, with slight variations according to the light and stage of flowering. Pair them with white flowers or grow them alone in a pot or bed.
The pack contains 6 bulbs of the same variety, imported from the Netherlands, rather than mixed colours. Tulipa 'Lady van Eijk' belongs to the Darwin Hybrid group, known for large flowers and sturdy stems. It reaches around 50–60 cm in suitable conditions and suits the middle or back of flower beds and wide pots. The flowering image is illustrative; the pink shade in real life may differ from both the image and the pack photograph. Stem height and flowering time depend on seasonal cold and the planting site.
Pre-chilling: Tulips need a suitable cold period. If this batch has not been pre-chilled and the planting site does not provide enough cold, refrigerating the bulbs for 6–10 weeks in a ventilated paper bag away from fruit may help. Plant them immediately after removing them. Check this batch's chilling status with Hedera.
What you receive: A Hedera pack containing 6 Lady van Eijk tulip bulbs of the same variety. These ornamental bulbs are not suitable for eating; keep away from children and pets.
Is this a mixed pack? No, all six bulbs are Lady van Eijk.
Will the flower colour match the pack image? The flowers are rich pink, with slight variations due to lighting, photography and the stage of flowering.
Can I grow them in a pot? Yes, provided it is sufficiently deep and wide and has drainage holes.
When should I plant them in Jordan? When the weather and soil cool in late autumn or winter, depending on your region, the season and the batch's chilling status.
Must I refrigerate the bulbs? This depends on the batch's chilling status and how cold your planting site is; check with Hedera first.
Will they flower again? They may return in suitable conditions, but equally strong flowering is not guaranteed.
