Malathate 50% EC Organophosphate Insecticide — 1 L

A non-systemic organophosphate insecticide. It does not harm plants when used at the recommended rates.

Suitable crops

Beans, cabbage, cauliflower, aubergines, peas, peppers, carrots, radishes, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, watermelons and courgettes; apples, pears, peaches, apricots and plums; and wheat.

Target pests

Aphids, leaf-feeding caterpillars, cutworms, fruit flies, olive fruit flies, codling moths and leaf flies.

Directions for use

Dilute the concentrate in water at the following rates:

• Beans, cabbage, cauliflower, aubergines, peas, peppers, carrots, radishes, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, watermelons and courgettes: 25–30 ml per 20 L of water.
• Apples, pears, peaches, apricots and plums: 30–40 ml per 20 L of water.
• Wheat: 40–50 ml per 20 L of water.
