Care guide

Light

It prefers bright, indirect light and can adapt to medium light. Avoid strong direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.

Watering

Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil dries. Add water until it drains from the pot, then discard the excess. Do not follow a fixed watering schedule; small pots may dry faster, particularly in summer.

Soil and drainage

Use a light, well-drained houseplant mix and a pot with drainage holes. Avoid soil remaining waterlogged for long periods.

Temperature

Moderate household temperatures of approximately 18–27°C are suitable. Keep it away from direct air-conditioning airflow and heat sources.

Humidity

Normal household humidity is suitable. Gently wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain their appearance.

Feeding

Apply a balanced or foliage-plant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer, following the recommended rate. Reduce feeding in winter or when growth slows.

Hedera tip

Salt build-up in the soil may cause dry leaf tips. If the problem recurs, use low-salt water and avoid overfeeding.

Where to place it

  • Work and study desks.
  • Reception and side tables.
  • Wide shelves.
  • Well-lit kitchens and living rooms.
  • Small green gifts.

Important note

This plant is not edible and may harm cats and dogs if they chew its leaves. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Frequently asked questions

How tall is the plant on delivery?

Approximately 25 cm, including the nursery pot. Minor natural differences between individual plants are possible.

Does it have one stem?

Yes. One main stem emerges from the soil and branches near the top into two leafy crowns.

Is it suitable for a desk?

Yes. Its small size suits desks, tables and shelves, provided there is suitable indoor light.

Does it tolerate low light?

It can adapt to medium light, but bright, indirect light supports better growth.

How often should I water it?

Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil has dried. Check the soil before watering rather than following a fixed number of days.

Is the decorative planter included?

No. The product includes the plant in its plastic nursery pot only. The decorative planter in the lifestyle photograph is shown for styling.

A note about living plants
