Kitasal 5 L by JISA

Kitasal is an agricultural soil conditioner and calcium source used with irrigation water to manage soil or water salinity, particularly where sodium salts are elevated in the root zone. It is designed to help improve physical and chemical soil properties and correct calcium imbalances within an agricultural management program.

Composition

• Calcium oxide (CaO): 9.3% w/w
• Polyhydroxycarboxylic acids: 17% w/w
• Density: 1.35 kg/L
• pH: 4.5

Application and rates

Apply through soil irrigation to the root zone only. Not for foliar spraying.

• Soil salinity: 2.5–3 L/ha every 15 days, equivalent to 250–300 mL/dunum every 15 days.
• Irrigation water salinity: 15–70 mL/m³ of water, equivalent to 0.3–1.4 mL per 20 litres of water.

Repeat soil treatments according to conditions. There is no fixed dose per 20 litres for treating soil salinity because the rate is specified by dunum, not by water tank volume.

Mixing compatibility and safety

• Do not mix with compounds containing sulfur or phosphorus, or with alkaline compounds.
• Follow the safety symbols and instructions on the pack during use.
