Care Guide

Light

Prefers bright, indirect indoor light and can adapt to medium light. Good light supports growth and encourages flowering. Avoid direct sunlight.

Watering

Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry. Water thoroughly until excess drains through the holes, then discard any water collected underneath.

Avoid watering again before the soil surface dries. Constantly saturated soil may cause yellow leaves and root problems.

Humidity

Prefers medium to high humidity. Group with other plants or use a humidifier when the air is dry, while maintaining adequate ventilation.

Temperature

Suited to approximately 18–28°C. Keep away from cold air-conditioning draughts and direct heat sources.

Feeding

Apply a diluted, balanced houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during the growing season. Reduce feeding in winter.

Cleaning the Leaves

Wipe dusty leaves with a soft, damp cloth to maintain their natural shine and help them make use of the available light.

Important Notes

  • Drooping leaves often signal a need for water, but check the soil moisture before watering.
  • White blooms may gradually turn green as they age; this is a natural part of their life cycle.
  • Remove yellow leaves and old flower stems at the base using a clean tool.
  • This plant is not edible. Keep away from children and pets that might chew its leaves.
