Plants are natural products. Leaf density, curvature and arrangement may differ slightly from the photographs, while the variety, stem count and overall size are maintained.

Why choose it?

  • The 150 cm height creates an impressive, noticeable presence.
  • Three staggered stems form a balanced vertical arrangement.
  • Broad, glossy dark green leaves suit modern interiors.
  • Suitable for homes, offices and reception areas.
  • A resilient houseplant that is relatively easy to care for.

Care guide

Light

It prefers bright, indirect light and can adapt to medium indoor light. It tolerates relatively low light, but growth will be slower and foliage may become less dense. Avoid strong direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.

Watering

Water when the top 4–5 cm of soil dries. Add water slowly until it drains from the pot, then discard the excess. Avoid frequent watering or waterlogged soil; overwatering is a common cause of yellow leaves and root damage.

Soil and drainage

Use a light, well-drained houseplant mix and a pot with drainage holes. Do not allow water to collect inside a decorative planter after watering.

Temperature

Moderate household temperatures of approximately 18–27°C are suitable. Keep it away from direct air-conditioning airflow and heat sources, and protect it from sudden temperature changes.

Humidity

Normal household humidity is suitable. Wipe the broad leaves with a damp cloth when dusty to preserve their shine and help them absorb light.

Feeding

Apply a balanced or foliage-plant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer, following the rate on the product label. Reduce feeding in winter or when growth slows.

Pruning and cleaning

Remove yellow or damaged leaves at their base with a clean tool. Avoid cutting the growing tips or main stems unless you intend to control growth and reshape the plant.

Hedera tip

Dracaena can be affected by salt build-up in the soil. If leaf tips repeatedly dry out, use low-salt water and avoid overfeeding, and periodically flush the soil with water, allowing it to drain fully.

Where to place it

  • Spacious living rooms.
  • Well-lit entrances and hallways.
  • Executive offices and meeting rooms.
  • Reception areas and clinics.
  • Hotels, restaurants and indoor commercial spaces.
  • Empty corners that need a tall green feature.

Important note

This plant is not edible and may harm cats and dogs if they chew its leaves. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
