Product description

Get the essentials for managing your hydroponic nutrient solution in one complete Hedera bundle. It combines concentrated A and B nutrient solutions, 1000 ml each, with 500 ml of solution C to help adjust pH after the nutrient solution has been prepared.

Designed to simplify care for soilless crops and improve the balance between plant nutrition and water pH, this bundle is a practical choice for hydroponic towers and home or small commercial systems in Jordan.

Why choose the A + B + C bundle?

Successful hydroponics requires both balanced nutrients and suitable pH so roots can absorb nutrients efficiently. The bundle provides a three-step system:

  • Solution A: Supplies an essential part of the nutrients needed for growth.
  • Solution B: Complements the nutrient formula and supports root, leaf and crop development.
  • Solution C: Adjusts the nutrient solution’s pH after A and B have been added.

Bundle contents

  • Hedera Hydro Base A concentrate – 1000 ml.
  • Hedera Hydro Base B concentrate – 1000 ml.
  • Hedera Hydro Solution C pH regulator – 500 ml.
  • Total bundle volume: 2500 ml.

Key features

  • Complete nutrition for hydroponic systems.
  • Combines solutions A, B and C in one bundle.
  • Helps supply essential plant nutrients.
  • Supports balanced root and vegetative growth.
  • Helps improve nutrient uptake.
  • Suitable for leafy vegetables, herbs, fruiting crops and ornamentals.
  • Helps adjust pH after nutrients are added.
  • Practical concentrated bottles for repeated use.
  • Suitable for beginners and home hydroponic growers.
  • An economical, practical option compared with buying the solutions separately.
  • Suitable for use across Jordan, with source-water testing taken into account.

Suitable crops

The bundle can be used in feeding programs for hydroponically grown crops including:

  • Lettuce, arugula and spinach.
  • Mint, basil, parsley and coriander.
  • Strawberries.
  • Tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers.
  • Aromatic herbs.
  • Ornamental plants suited to hydroponic systems.

The required nutrient strength varies with crop type, age and growth stage. Monitor electrical conductivity (EC) rather than using one fixed rate for all plants.

Suitable systems

  • Vertical hydroponic towers.
  • NFT systems.
  • DWC and deep water culture systems.
  • Small home systems.
  • Balcony and rooftop hydroponics.
  • Educational and experimental systems.
  • Peat moss or coco peat growing systems with managed nutrient solutions.

How to use A, B and C

  1. Fill the system reservoir with a suitable amount of clean water.
  2. Add the required amount of solution A and stir well.
  3. Allow A to disperse fully throughout the reservoir.
  4. Add the required amount of solution B and stir well again.
  5. Check EC to assess nutrient concentration.
  6. Measure pH after adding A and B.
  7. If pH is above the required range, add C gradually in small amounts.
  8. Stir well, wait briefly and measure again before adding more.
  9. Run the growing system and monitor water readings regularly.

Important preparation note

Do not mix A and B together as concentrates. This can cause some nutrients to react and precipitate, reducing their availability. Add each solution separately to the water reservoir, stirring thoroughly between additions. Use C after adding A and B and measuring pH, rather than before preparing the nutrient solution.

Target nutrient solution readings

pH: The suitable range for most hydroponic crops is 5.8–6.2.

Crop or stageIndicative EC range
Seedlings and young plants0.6–1.0 mS/cm
Leafy vegetables and herbs1.2–1.8 mS/cm
Intermediate growth stages1.5–2.0 mS/cm
Fruiting crops2.0–2.5 mS/cm

Why is solution C useful in Jordan?

Water pH and salt levels vary between areas in Jordan. High-pH water may reduce the availability of some nutrients even when a suitable nutrient solution is used. Solution C gradually lowers pH after A and B have been added, helping reach a range appropriate for plant growth.

Storage and safety

  • Keep bottles tightly closed in a cool, dry place.
  • Protect from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.
  • Avoid eye and skin contact with concentrated solutions.
  • Use clean, separate measuring tools when dispensing each solution.
  • None of these solutions is suitable for drinking.
  • Do not mix the concentrates inside their bottles or outside the water reservoir.

Frequently asked questions

Must A and B be used together?
Yes. They are designed to complement each other. Using only one part can cause an imbalance in the nutrients available to plants.

Is solution C a fertilizer?
C does not replace nutrient solutions A and B. It is a pH regulator used to adjust the solution after nutrients are added.

Should I add equal amounts of A and B?
Use the rates shown on the bottles or the system’s approved feeding program while monitoring EC. Do not mix the two concentrates together before diluting them in water.

Do I need C every time?
Not necessarily. Use it only when the pH meter indicates that the solution is above the required range.

Do I need both pH and EC meters?
Both are recommended for more accurate results. EC indicates nutrient concentration, while pH indicates how suitable the water acidity is for nutrient uptake.

Is the bundle suitable for hydroponic towers?
Yes. It suits hydroponic towers and many soilless systems, provided the amounts are adjusted to reservoir size, crop type, EC and pH readings.
