Active Ingredient and Mode of Action

Agromec contains abamectin at 1.8% w/v. The active ingredient affects the pest's nervous system, stopping movement and feeding before death. Abamectin belongs to group 6; when repeating treatments, rotate with pesticides from different groups to reduce the risk of resistance.

Rate and Application

The pack lists different rates according to crop and pest, ranging from 5–20 ml per 20 L of water for certain uses. Select the rate and pre-harvest interval for the specific crop and pest in the table; do not use one rate for all crops.

• Start spraying when infestation first appears.
• Cover both leaf surfaces, especially the underside.
• Do not spray in strong winds or high temperatures.
• Do not repeatedly use pesticides from the same group without rotation.
• Observe the registered number of applications and pre-harvest intervals.
• Do not mix with captan, in accordance with the pack instructions. A small-scale mixing test is recommended before preparing the full quantity.
