Growing guide

• Sowing: Sow one seed per plug cell without covering. A thin layer of vermiculite may be added to improve moisture retention.
• Germination: 4–6 days at 21–23°C. Maintain 95–100% humidity for the first 4 days, then reduce to 40–60%.
• Growth: Long days and strong light encourage earlier flowering.
• Early-stage medium: pH 5.5–5.8, EC 0.5–0.75.
• Growing-on medium: pH 5.5–5.8, EC 1.0–1.5.
• Temperature: Keep at 21–23°C until roots emerge, then reduce to 20–21°C. For the first days after potting, maintain 16–17°C at night and 17–18°C by day. Later, night temperatures may be reduced to 13–15°C, with slightly warmer days.
• Feeding: Apply a calcium-containing fertiliser at 100 ppm 1–2 times weekly. Later, use a complete fertiliser at 150–200 ppm 1–2 times weekly.
