Product description

Offered through a special collaboration between Magic Seed and Hedera, these seeds produce Fire Finger chilli peppers, known for their long, slender shape, vibrant colour and distinctive flavour. Suitable for home gardens, greenhouses and small farms, this variety offers good yields and a consistent fruit shape under suitable growing conditions. Each pack contains 30 carefully selected seeds for high quality and healthy growth.

How to grow

Starting seedlings

Starting seedlings is the most commonly used method for growing hot pepper varieties. Sow in trays or containers filled with a light, well-drained growing medium, and maintain moderate moisture as the seedlings develop. Once they reach a suitable size, transplant them to their final growing position, leaving enough space for healthy growth and good air circulation.

Direct sowing

Direct sowing is suitable in areas with stable, warm weather. Sow the seeds at a shallow depth and water regularly until seedlings emerge.

When to plant

Plant during periods of mild temperatures, after severe cold has passed. Exact planting dates vary by region and should be determined by the grower or an agricultural specialist according to local conditions.

Plant care

Choose a location with good daylight for strong growth and well-flavoured fruit. Water regularly without overwatering and maintain balanced soil moisture. A balanced feeding programme can be used according to the soil type and growing system. Check the plants regularly for problems, pests or diseases and address them as needed.

Harvesting

Pick the peppers when they reach a suitable size and length for use, either green or fully ripe, according to preference. Frequent harvesting helps sustain production.
